Winter Fun at Battery Park
People of all ages enjoyed sledding and skating at Battery Park during the winter of 1954.

The Sandusky Sailing Club marina was once the city ice skateing ring. It was lighted and usually there was a camp fire to keep warm. You could skate in the basin or go out the inlet and skate in the bay. The ice boats also were there.
I remember doing this in the late 50's early 6o's only because I have seen myself and my sisters on old home movies that my mom still has.
