We called the building on the right corner, the "Corner Store". Our family "the Braeunig's" lived on Pipe Street near Pipe Creek. Perkins Ave. went to the bridge for Pipe creek. We walked down Perkins Ave. with a little change given to us by our dad, Leo.and stopped in the corner store with old wood floors, walked to the back of the store where the candy was in the glass display cases and bought treats for the day.

It is the intersection of Perkins Avenue and Milan Road (Route 250), facing east on Perkins Avenue. The picture was taken probably in the 1920s.
