Back to School -- Class Photos from Campbell School

Thousands of school students have just returned to the classroom. Here are some vintage pictures of former elementary students who attended Campbell School in Sandusky, Ohio. The picture below was taken in the fall of 1888.

Forty five students from Grade 3-B at Campbell School in 1919 are pictured below.

Do you have photos of Campbell Scool students in other years? My mother attended that school from 1901 (ist grade) to 1908.

I don't know if this blog is still on-going, but, I'm trying to find the name or history or anything on a school that was located on Milan Road back in 1940's. Black & White students went there, but I can't find anything about it. It was a building across from (now Corso's) before getting to Oakland Cemetery. I was told it was called Oakland School, but, I can't find anything on it. Plz help if you can or if you are still on-line. Thank you

I am trying to find information on a school that was located on Milan Road, called Oakland School. It was across from Corso's, but, torn down now. My cousins and maybe father went there back in the 1940's. I've tried the library, but can't find a thing on it. Don't know where else to look or check. Maybe it was called something else. Thank you.
