Benjamin Erney was my dad's first cousin. Uncle Ben and my grand-father Wilhelm Daniel, were in business together, building houses. My grandfather died ca 1920and in 1924 Uncle Ben built the house that my mom and dad moved into when they returned from their honeymoon; the house I grew up in, at 1126 Fifth Street.
